What Am I Waiting For?

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had many extraordinary conversations with clients, which could only be described as ‘life’ reality check moments. The big questions like ‘why are we doing what we do?’ ‘Is it really making a difference?’ ‘What impact is my business really having?’ ‘Am I doing what I’m supposed to be doing?’

Now, when this shows up in my life, there is one quote that rings true for me, which is what I want to share with you this week.

This inspiring quote is by Marianne Williamson and also cited by Nelson Mandela.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. You were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us.

And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

There is no doubt that this past month has been a huge month for everyone. I look forward to our continued journey together.
